What Happens When You Call Us For Help
Are you interested in knowing how a typical conversation goes when you call us for help? Many farmers and business owners we deal with like to know the questions we ask ahead of time so they can be prepared before they call and speak to us. So, for all those who would like to be prepared ahead of time, this article is for you.
Where Are You Located
The very first thing we ask is where you are located and what your land zone is. Don’t worry if you don’t know your land zoning, we will check that anyway just to make sure. Next, if you’re on a rural property, we will then ask about your land size and neighbouring properties. This gives us a general idea of the scope we are dealing with.
Give Us A General Idea Of The Issue
Next we like to know a bit about the feral animal issues you’re experiencing. Is a mob of feral pigs ripping up your grazing land? Perhaps a heap of rabbits are digging up your golf course or place of business? Maybe it’s pigeons messing up your industrial shed? Do you see these feral animals out in daylight or only at night? Maybe you’re not seeing them at all but only seeing the mess they leave behind.
Whatever is going on, we are simply looking to get a general idea of what the issue is and the scope of how large a problem.
What Feral Animal Control Methods Have You Tried
If you’re a farmer, you may have already done a bit of feral animal control yourself by baiting, trapping, or shooting. Maybe you’ve set up some trail cameras so that you know what times these feral animals are appearing.
Knowing these details is really helpful in developing a feral animal control program that works for you.
Develop A Feral Animal Control Program
Now that we are armed with all the required information, we can develop a feral animal control program that works for you. This can be as simple as a quick discussion and working out a plan of attack or as complex as a comprehensive monitoring period before developing a multi-faceted feral animal control program.
The difference between these programs is generally the size of the feral animal problem and the scope we are dealing with. Clearing out pigeons in an industrial shed hardly requires a comprehensive program, whereas a large farm overrun by feral pigs will likely need a bit more planning and monitoring to be effective.
This is also the point where we discuss your budget and outline our costs of service. You can get a good idea of our costs on our pricing page. We do our best to be totally transparent about costs up front, so there are no surprises before or after.
In either case, our goal is always to get you the best results we can, along with great value for money. We see this as a win-win.
Book In A Property Or Site Visit And Get Results
Alright, now we are down to the business end of the deal. It’s our goal to be available when you need us. Now, due to other work scheduled, we may not be able to book the exact date you need, but we will do our best to be there when you need us.
If you have an emergency that can't wait, like wild dogs attacking your stock, please let us know as we will try and rearrange our schedule to be there. Otherwise, scheduling a suitable date ahead of time is generally the best way to get the dates you require.
