Firearms Safety Training Newcastle

Are you in the Newcastle NSW area and are looking to get your firearms licence for recreational hunting and/or target shooting? If so, the first thing you will need is a firearms safe handling certificate before you can apply for your licence.

To get this certificate you need to book in and attend a firearms safety training course. These courses are conducted by gun clubs and dealers all over the state so don’t worry, you can do this course in plenty of places.

Now, as a firearms safety training instructor, I would suggest you come along to one of our SSAA Newcastle training sessions. We offer a comprehensive training package where once you pass the theory component, you get to come up onto the range and complete your practical assessment a.k.a. ‘shoot guns’ on the same day! 

This means in one day you walk away with everything you need to apply for your firearms licence. Plus, you will get to meet me when you come up onto the range for the practical component since I am one of the trainers.

This is a really fun day for all involved so come along, get licensed, and join many others in our awesome sport.
